Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom – ”The Cost of Discipleship” – Verdugo Community Church September 4, 2022

Pastor Gail, in her sermon, “The Cost of Discipleship,” looks at two occasions where Jesus addressed that issue: Matthew 7:13 – 29 and Luke 14:25 – 35. She reminds us that it takes more than a passive belief in Jesus to become a disciple. It requires active participation in living the way he taught and demonstrated. It requires us to put him first in our lives, ahead of our other relationships and goals.
