Pastor Samantha Davidson – “Come, Holy Spirit” – Verdugo Community Church May 15, 2022

Pastor Samantha Davidson in her sermon, “Come, Holy Spirit” gives us a fresh perspective on the episode in Acts 11 when the Holy Spirit fell upon gentile believers while Peter is baptizing them. Peter then stays with them and shares their meals. This surprises and concerns some of the other believers. Peter sees that the Spirit has broken down these ethnic barriers and all are welcomed as believers. She challenges us to ask the Holy Spirit to rest upon us and surprise us with what it will be doing in our everyday lives, using the prayer “Come, Holy Spirit”.
