Pentecost Sunday Services -- May 31,2020 -- at Verdugo Community Church

During these times of social distancing Verdugo Community Church is instead video recording its worship services and posting them on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch, and, as a podcast on this site. In this service on Pentecost Sunday the Welcome, Announcements and Opening Prayer are by lead pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom.  Dale Reynolds reads our opening scripture from Ecclesiastes 3:1 - 8.  Music Director Heidi Sandoval, accompanied by Vanessa Simon and Dan Coquia leads us in worship singing.  Pastor Gail then leads us in the Pastoral Prayer.  The sermon, entitled "Hope Fulfilled -- Hope Fueled" is by Pastor April Bates-Fearon, using Romans 15:13 and Ephesians 1:13 - 14 and 17 - 19 as her text.  This sermon is also available as a separate podcast.  Pastor April and also leads us in Communion, inviting you to participate at home.

Verdugo Community Church is a Free Methodist congregation located in and serving the Glassell Park, Eagle Rock and Glendale areas in Los Angeles.  It is located at 4300 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065.
