Verdugo Community Church Service for May 10, 2020

During these times of social distancing Verdugo Community Church is instead video recording its worship services and posting them on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch, and, as a podcast on this site.. In this service the welcome and announcements are by lead pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom.  Dale Reynolds reads our opening Psalm 145. Pastor David Saltzman gives the Opening Prayer and the sermon, entitled "A Mother's Day Plea for Unity", using John 14:1 -- 10 as his text.  The sermon is also a separate podcast.  Music Director Heidi Sandoval, accompanied by Pastor David, leads us in worship singing.  Pastor Gail also leads us in Communion, inviting you to participate at home. The closing song, "The Sweet Peace of Jesus" is written and sung by Pastor David, with Heidi Sandoval accompanying on vocals. 

Verdugo Community Church is a Free Methodist congregation located in and serving the Glassell Park, Eagle Rock and Glendale areas in Los Angeles.  It is located at 4300 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065.
