VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH SERVICE JULY 26, 2020

During these times of social distancing Verdugo Community Church is instead video recording its worship services and posting them on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch, and, as a podcast on this site.  Lead pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom gives the Welcome and Announcements, followed by a reading from Proverbs 8 by Dale Reynolds. Albert Ramseyer gives the Opening Prayer in response. Heidi Sandoval, Music Director, leads us in worship singing, accompanied by Dan Coquia on vocals and Mike Minasyan on violin.  Andrew Mumm, who leads our weekly Prayer Group on Thursday mornings, provides the Pastoral Prayer.  Pastor David Saltzman challenges us with the sermon "Wisdom Is a Grace from God" using King Solomon's experience from 1 Kings 3:5 - 12 as his text.  This sermon is also a separate podcast on this site.  Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, which you are invited to participate in from home as well.

Verdugo Community Church is a Free Methodist congregation located in and serving the Glassell Park, Eagle Rock and Glendale areas in Los Angeles.  It is located at 4300 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065.
