Verdugo Community Church -- Sunday Service May 24, 2020

During these times of social distancing Verdugo Community Church is instead video recording its worship services and posting them on our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch, and, as a podcast on this site.  In this service the Welcome, Announcements and Opening Prayer are by lead pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom.  Dale Reynolds reads our opening scripture from Psalm 37. Pastor David Saltzman leads us in the Blessing and Pastoral Prayer, and also leads us in Communion, inviting you to participate at home.  Music Director Heidi Sandoval, accompanied by Vanessa Simon and Dan Coquia, Mike Minasyan and Pastor David, leads us in worship singing. The sermon, entitled "Live for Jesus .... No Matter What! -- Our Response in Challenging Times" is by Pastors Gay and Dan Zambrano, using 1 Peter 4:7 - 19 and 5:6 - 11 as their text.  This sermon is also available as a separate podcast.  

Verdugo Community Church is a Free Methodist congregation located in and serving the Glassell Park, Eagle Rock and Glendale areas in Los Angeles.  It is located at 4300 Verdugo Road, Los Angeles, CA 90065.
