Verdugo Community Church Worship Service April 24, 2022

We begin our service in song. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Psalm 25, and Andrew Mumm opens us in prayer. Guest Music director Nicolas Baltazar accompanied by Mike Minasyan, lead us in praise and worship music. Greg Hart takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Daniel Whipple, from Rose City Church, in his sermon, “The Testimony of Easter,” invites us to consider what we as believers should do in response to the Resurrection. Looking in Acts 5, he notes that the Disciples shared what they knew to be the the truth about Jesus whenever and wherever they could. Pastor Dan reminds us that this is all that God calls us to do as well. Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
