VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE AUGUST 23, 2020

During these times when we cannot meet in-person, Verdugo Community Church is recording its Sunday service and sharing it with you here and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch.

Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Andrew Mumm Calls us to Worship with a reading of Psalm 138 and the Opening Prayer. Heidi Sandoval, our Music Director, and the Praise Team leading us in praise and worship music, together with a reading by Dale Reynolds from Isaiah 61. Albert Ramseyer brings us together over the concerns of the congregation with the Pastoral Prayer. Pastor David Saltzman urges us to remember that “It’s All in a Name”, using the example of the faithful midwives in Exodus 1:8 to 2:10. Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, which you are encouraged to participate in at home. We look forward to the time when we can again safely meet with you in person and worship together.
