VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE AUGUST 30, 2020

During these times when we cannot meet in person, Verdugo Community Church is recording its Sunday service and sharing it with you here and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch.  

Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family.  Dale Reynolds Calls us to Worship with a reading from Psalm 103 and Pastor David Saltzman then leads us in  the Opening Prayer. Heidi Sandoval, our Music Director, and the Praise Team lead us in praise and worship music.  Greg Hart brings us together over the concerns of the congregation with the Pastoral Prayer.  Pastor Gail then challenges us that “It’s All About What’s in Our Heart” using the descriptions of love in action from Romans 12:6 – 18, 21;   1 Corinthians 13:4 – 7; and, John 13:14 – 17, 33a – 35.  Pastor David then leads us in Communion, which you are encouraged to participate in at home.
