Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for August 22, 2021

Music Director Heidi Sandoval opens with a musical prelude. Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship by a reading from Psalm 42, and Andrew Mumm opens us in prayer. Heidi then leads us further in praise and worship music. Greg Hart focuses on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Andrew Mumm has us consider St. Paul’s admonition to take on the whole armor of God’s blessings to confront the challenges we face in his sermon,”When Doubt Creeps In.” Pastor Gail leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
