Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for August 8, 2021

Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Nancy Saltzman calls us to worship by a reading from Psalm 145, and Andrew Mumm opens us in prayer. Music Director Heidi Sandoval leads us further in praise and worship music. Greg Hart focuses on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail takes us through the story of the Feeding of the 5,000 in John 6 to see how God can use whatever we bring in her sermon “Not Your Ordinary Church Picnic.” Chaplain Dave leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate.

Verdugo Community Church is again having in-person Sunday services at 10:00 a.m., but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
