Tuesday Dec 21, 2021
We begin our service by singing Christmas hymns. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. A reading from Psalm 33 by Dale Reynolds is our Call Worship. Pastor Gail lights the Fourth Advent Candle, the Candle of Love, and Andrew Mumm opens us in prayer. Music Director Heidi Sandoval then leads us in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer focuses us on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Andrew Mumm looks at the interactions of Elizabeth and Mary to the news of Jesus’s pending birth and their roles in this miracle in Luke 1 to remind us that God can use each of us to spread his love and accomplish his will in his sermon, “The Fruits of Love in Our Life.”’ Pastor Gail leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
