Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for December 5, 2021

We begin our service with an instrumental medley of Christmas carols. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to Worship with a reading of Psalm 29. Music Director Heidi Sandoval then leads us in praise and worship music. Andrew Mumm focuses us on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail traces prophetic promises to affirm God’s covenant to be with his people. Jesus shows us that through him we find shalom by spending time in prayer, because there is “Peace in His Presence.”  Pastor Gail leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.

Verdugo Community Church is again having in-person Sunday services at 10:00 a.m., but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
