VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE FOR FEBRUARY 28, 2021

Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Psalm 34, and Pastor David Saltzman opens us with prayer. Music Director Heidi Sandoval leads us in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer focuses us on the concerns of the congregation and the world with the Pastoral Prayer. Pastor David continues our Lenten journey in his sermon “Get Thee in Front of Us, Jesus.” In Mark 8 after Peter rebukes Jesus for predicting His death and resurrection, Jesus challenges Peter, and all of us, to follow Him regardless of the cost. Pastor Gail guides us through Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate.
