VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE FOR JANUARY 17, 2021

During these times when we cannot meet in person, Verdugo Community Church is recording its Sunday service to share with you here and on Facebook at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch.  

Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Psalm 89, and Pastor Gail opens us in prayer using the words of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Music Director Heidi Sandoval leads us in praise and worship music. Greg Hart challenges and focuses us on the concerns of the congregation and the world with the Pastoral Prayer. Pastor David Saltzman, using the prophetic words of Jeremiah and Paul to the Galatians, affirms that “Honesty and Grace” require that we seek and acknowledge God’s truth in our lives. Pastor Gail guides us through Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate. We look forward to the time when we can again safely worship together in person.
