Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for July 4, 2021

We begin with a instrumental medley by Music Director Heidi Sandoval. Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family and opens us with prayer. Mike Minasyan calls us to worship by reading Psalm 146. Heidi leads us further in praise and worship music. President Thomas Jefferson, as portrayed by Dale Reynolds, shares his beliefs on Christianity in “Thomas Jefferson’s Fourth of July Sermon.” Michelle Hensley brings the message to the present day with an excerpt from the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s speech, “I Have a Dream.”

Verdugo Community Church is again having in-person services but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
