Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for June 27, 2021

Verdugo Community Church is meeting in person again. We begin with song, led by Music Director Heidi Sandoval. Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship by reading Psalm 30 and Chaplain Dave Saltzman opens us with prayer. Heidi leads us further in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer focuses us on the concerns of the congregation and the world with the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail finds guidance for Verdugo in how Jesus adapted his ministry to changing conditions in Mark 5, and reminds us of Paul’s call to the Corinithian Christians to be fully engaged and motivated by love for others in her sermon, “The Power of Faith and the Possibilities of Love.” Chaplain Dave leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate.

Verdugo Community Church is transitioning back to in-person services but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
