Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for March 21, 2021
Wednesday Mar 24, 2021
Wednesday Mar 24, 2021
Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Psalm 31, and Pastor Gail opens us with prayer. Music Director Heidi Sandoval leads us in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer focuses us on the concerns of the congregation and the world with the Pastoral Prayer. April Bates-Fearon joins us from Empowering Lives International. Her sermon, “Seeds of Future Hope Now,” uses Romans 5:1 – 5 and the experience of persons helped by ELI to remind us that God can use our responses to adversity to build endurance, character, and hope. Pastor April guides us through Communion, with the participation of her daughter Lydia, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate.
Verdugo Community Church is recording its Sunday service and sharing it with you on this site and as a video on Facebook at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch.
We look forward to the time when we can again safely worship together in person. Hopefully this will be this Easter!
