Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for May 9, 2021

Verdugo Community Church continues with its in-person service today. We begin with song, led by Music Director Heidi Sandoval. Lead Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with Isaiah 58. Pastor Gail opens us with prayer. Heidi leads us further in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer focuses us on the concerns of the congregation and the world with the Prayers of the People. Pastor David Saltzman looks at Matthew 25 and announces a new ministry of Verdugo looking to address the needs of the homeless and poor in our neighborhoods in his sermon, “An Introduction to the Church of Hearts Los Angeles.” Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate.

Verdugo Community Church is transitioning back to in-person services, and is working out the technology to continue making its Sunday service available to you online at this site and by video on Facebook at www.facebook.com/verdugochurch.
