Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for November 14, 2021

We begin our service singing “Hosanna (I See the King of Glory).” Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family and opens us in prayer. Dale Reynolds and Luisa Fernandez lead us in a responsive reading of Psalm 146. Music Director Heidi Sandoval then leads us in praise and worship music. Hugh Linstrom focuses us on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Daniel Whipple from Rose City Church, looks at the story of Jesus prophesying the destruction of the Second Temple in Mark 13:1 – 8 to remind us that we should not become diverted from following Jesus by claims of others to have all the answers in his sermon “Christ’s Certainty.” Pastor Gail leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.

Verdugo Community Church is again having in-person Sunday services at 10:00 a.m., but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
