Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for October 10, 2021

We begin our service singing “Lord of the Dance.” Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds and Andrew Mumm lead us in praying a responsive reading from Psalms 63 and 107. Music Director Heidi Sandoval then leads us in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer focuses us on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Daniel Whipple refers us to Hebrews 4:12 – 16 to remind us that when we use Scripture to guide us we need to be humble and pray for discernment, because “The Word Makes Our Intentions Known.” Pastor Gail leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.

Verdugo Community Church is again having in-person Sunday services at 10:00 a.m., but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
