Verdugo Community Church Worship Service for September 19, 2021
Monday Sep 20, 2021
Monday Sep 20, 2021
We begin our service singing “The King of Love My Shepherd Is”. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds and Andrew Mumm lead the congregation in a Responsive Reading taken from Psalms 95 and 100. Andrew then opens us in prayer. Music Director Heidi Sandoval then leads us in praise and worship music. Hugh Linstrom focuses us on the concerns and praises of the congregation in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail uses lessons from the Valley of the Dry Bones in Ezekiel 37 to encourage on us our journey to “Discovering the Person God Created You to Be.” Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
Verdugo Community Church is again having in-person Sunday services at 10:00 a.m., but continues to make its Sunday service available to you online at this site.
