VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE JULY 10, 2022

We begin our service in song. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Psalm 30 and opens us in prayer. Music Leader Nicolas Baltazar leads us in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail in her sermon, “Obedience Is Simple … Step by Step,” looks at the story of Naaman in 2 Kings 5 to illustrate how God meets our needs in ways we could not predict, and often question. We have to trust God if we are to receive the blessings he wants for us.

 

Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
