VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE JUNE 12, 2022

We begin our service in song. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading of Psalm 8, and Albert Ramseyer opens us in prayer. Guest Music Leader Joletta Sells accompanied by Mike Minasyan lead us in praise and worship music. Greg Hart takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People. Andrew Mumm continues our study of our relationship with the Holy Spirit, in his sermon, “Hope in the Spirit.” He uses Romans 5:1 – 5 to remind us that through our faith in Jesus we can have peace with God in every part of our lives and that with the help of the Spirit even in our painful moments we can grow and do God’s work on earth. Joletta provides a response in her song, “Day By Day.” Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
