VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE JUNE 19, 2022

We begin our service in song. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading from Psalm 22 and Luisa Fernandez opens us in prayer. Music Leader Nicolas Baltazar accompanied by Mike Minasyan lead us in praise and worship music. Albert Ramseyer takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail in her sermon, “God Has a Purpose for Us,” explores the healing of a man possessed by demons in Luke 8:26 – 39 to show how Jesus takes us from our chaos, frees us from bondage, heals us, restores us, and gives us a new life, a new life with a purpose. Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
