VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE JUNE 26, 2022

We begin our service in song. Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. Dale Reynolds calls us to worship with a reading of Psalm 16, and Mike Minasyan opens us in prayer. Music Leader Nicolas Baltazar, accompanied by Mike Minasyan lead us in praise and worship music. Hugh Linstrom takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People. Pastor Gail in her sermon, “Bearing Fruit in Our Everyday Lives,” looks at Galatians 5 to show how we can live as free people under the leadership of the Holy Spirit, and not be enslaved either by sin or by humanly created religious rules.

 

Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
