VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE MARCH 19, 2023

Pastor Gail Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. We are called to worship with a responsive reading and prayer from Psalm 40 led by Dale Reynolds and Mike Minasyan. Jessica Jimenez and Mike Minasyan lead us in our praise singing. Albert Ramseyer takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People.

 

In her sermon “Part 2 – Living Water Brings Living Faith,” Pastor Gail shows us examples where God and Jesus met individuals to help them and to reveal themselves, such as the woman at the well in John 4 and the healing of the man born blind in John 9. God meets us in these “God appointments” today as well. Reaffirming the church tradition of individuals witnessing what God has done in their lives to each other, she invites us to share times when we have had God appointments.

 

Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
