VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE MAY 29, 2022

We begin our service in song.  Pastor Gail Whitcome Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family. We then have a Lament Service to recognize  Memorial Day and recent events, in which Dale Reynolds reads Psalms 27.  Music Leader Nicolas Baltazar, accompanied by Mike Minasyan lead us in praise and worship music. Greg Hart takes up the concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People.  Pastor Gail, in her sermon, “Amazing Love,” has us consider the entirety of John 17 to remember the great love of God for us, expressed through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus.  Pastor Gail then leads us in Communion, so you are invited to have bread or crackers and a beverage ready to participate in this sacrament.
