VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE OCTOBER 15, 2023

We open our service with song. Andrew Mumm welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family and calls us to worship with a reading from 1 Chronicles 16. Luisa Fernandez opens us in prayer. Nick Baltazar and Ed Manacop lead us in our praise singing. Greg Hart takes up the praises and concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People.

 

Pastor Chris Dodridge in his sermon “Practicing Joy,” looks at Philippians 4:1 – 9 and reminds us that whatever happens in our lives, we should be “Practicing Joy,” and trusting God as we work out his plan for our lives.

 

Pastor Chris then leads us in the sacrament of communion, and you are invited to participate as well.
