VERDUGO COMMUNITY CHURCH WORSHIP SERVICE OCTOBER 22, 2023

We open our service with song. Pastor Gail Linstrom welcomes all to worship and to participate in the life of our church family, and then calls us to worship and opens us in prayer. Pastor Gay Zambrano leads us in our praise singing. Pastor Gail leads us in a Litany for the Holy Land to address the current crisis there. In prayer. Albert Ramseyer takes up the praises and concerns of the church and our world in the Prayers of the People.

 

In her sermon, “Love Wins,” Pastor Gail looks at Paul’s letter to the Philippians, chapter 4, and then to numerous examples in the Old and New Testaments affirming that God loves each of us just as we are. It is up to us to accept that God loves us and strive to love others as we have been loved.

 

Pastor Gail then leads us in the sacrament of communion, and you are invited to participate as well.
